[/url]DSC_0032 (1) by William Reinke, on FlickrAs we were driving near our house in Idaho, we saw an adult elk and fawn up ahead and slowed down. The mother got frightened by a car coming from the opposite direction and bolted across the road just missing the car. Fortunately, this fawn just dropped to the ground. When we drove back a while later, both mama and fawn were gone and presumed safe.

We saw this black bear coming up the road near Tower. We parked in the lot and he came across the road and right past our car!
