Welcome to the Yellowstone Net Discussion Forum!

Congratulations to Faye on her new grandbaby!  Jerome Waverly, 20 1/2 inches long, 4 week preemie.

Welcome to the Forum!  Yellowstone this time of year in the is so very enchanting.  The animals are coming out of hibernation and the wildflowers are blooming.  Let's also not forget that we learn about nature in her true colors.  This is the time of year when babies are born, and some tragically die for the life of predators.

This month on the Forum, we have been discussing many of the issues of the park.  Should bison be hazed out of the campgrounds and popular thermal areas?  Should wild animals be cared for if they are injured?  Should the Montana Department of Livestock be allowed to continue their slaughter?  What should be done with the wolves that prey on other wildlife, and should the wolves have even been introduced?

With our many combined years of visiting and / or living near Yellowstone, I feel that we have a real representation of knowledge when it comes to fielding questions.  Indeed, we welcome all your questions!  Lately we have been discussing elk, road construction, road openings, weather, traveling with children, and motels in the area.

I would like to invite everyone to visit the forum and post your concerns and feelings about these issues and others facing Yellowstone National Park.  Everyone has beliefs and issues that they feel strongly about, and the Forum is a good place to discuss them with others, so please feel free to jump in!
