"Love the cabins"
Love the cabins. Remodeled in 2004.

"I would definitely recommed the cabins"
I would definitely recommend the cabins at Lake Yellowstone, but not for
someone looking for deluxe or posh accommodations. I enjoyed staying in
the cabins because it felt as if we had our own private vacation home in
the park; to me preferable to the hustle, bustle hotel experience.

"Will stay there again!"
We were able to park right outside our cabin and had a couple of stairs to
go into the cabin...nice when hauling luggage, etc. The cabin was simply
furnished, but just right for our group as we were out & about most of the
time, not wanting to be there except to sleep. We had two double beds and
that worked well for our group of 4. We ate at the Lake & Fishing Bridge
General Stores mostly, which was a quicker alternative than Lake Hotel. We
did enjoy a breakfast at Lake Hotel one morning but get there early as the
line started to grow longer as we left--the food was great and service
okay. Will stay there again for our next visit!

"The cabins have been nicely redone ..."
The cabins have been nicely redone. Ours had a sink &
mirror separate from the bath area, and included a coffee maker. It was a
squeeze, but not impossible for all 4 of us (adults) to fit comfortably
(more efficient packing would have helped!). Loved being able to park
right outside the room. Enjoyed spending time in both Lake Hotel and the
Lodge.

"the best of the lot ... excellent lighting"
Lake Hotel Cabin was the best of the lot. We had two double beds, sink in
the main room with a separate toilet and shower. This unit was recently
redone and had excellent lighting as well as a coffee maker. It was about
the same size as Mammoth. This was a double unit in one cabin - the units
connected at the bathrooms and we did know when the other occupants were
flushing or running water.
