Castle Geyser erupts every 9 to 11 hours and reaches heights of 60 to 90 feet. Eruptions last for 20 minutes followed by a steam phase that will last up to 40 minutes. Castles huge cone suggests that it is one of the oldest geysers in Yellowstone.(note white spot to left of cone which is people on boardwalk)
