Geysers of Yellowstone - Old Faithful

Old Faithful is the most famous geyser in Yellowstone. It was discovered and named by the Washburn Expedition in 1870. They were so impressed by it's frequent eruptions they named it Old Faithful. Old Faithful erupts to an average height of 123 feet. It's intervals range anywhere from 33 to 120 minutes and it's duration 1 1/2 to 5 minutes.
