Comments

This is a closeup (shot at 200mm) of water dripping at the top of Canary Spring, an especially beautiful formation. The white and yellow colors of the deposited travertine (which is a white mineral) indicates this section is near a hot runoff channel. A little below this section the water cools a bit, allowing bacteria and algae to grow in the pools of water. Those pools will then appear as orange, green, brown, etc.
