This shot was taken only moments before my sunset photo of Hayden Valley. The clouds were simply awesome. If I had had the time I would've shot a whole roll in this one location. But the other directions presented equally fantastic views. I wanted to shoot pictures in almost every direction. My biggest problem in getting this picture? Finding a place to park! I had been driving through Hayden Valley and the road is only one lane in each direction, and as soon as I saw the late afternoon light playing on the clouds I desperately searched for a place I could pull over and set up my tripod. There is no greater torture for a photographer than to see the perfect picture unfold before your eyes and not be able to take that picture. | |
