Headlines - March 1, 2002
The class made it home safe and sound. Here are some highlights of the trip.
- Ten people made it in their quinzhees for 4 nights: Katie Berst, Christ Dobson, Scott Magnuson, Justin Mahn, James Olson, Josh Pullmann, Laurie Schicktanz, Cody Swarthout, Chad Wentling and Amanda Reynolds.
- Three people made it 3 nights: Courtney Holmberg, Caitie Hopkins, Sarah Talafuse.
- Five people made it 2 nights: Lindsay McGlothlin, Kyle Reed, Blake Thompson, Shannon Reynolds, Kathleen Reynolds. The rest spent one night: Kaleb Perdew, Vanessa Larson, Patrick Hertz, Shannon Hatzell, Justin Casselman, Christopher Bush.
- The 4 night club also set a new record with the coldest night out at -28° F.
- A group came through on Friday and visited our quinzhees. Some were from England. So we have people around the world seeing our quinzhees.
- On the way out of the Park we had one pick-up go in a snowbank. We shoveled it out and everyone was fine.
- We would like to thank everyone for checking us out. The class learned a lot and had a great time. The Lord has blessed us with a beautiful creation. Also, a huge thank you to Bruce Gourley for his assistance with the web site and Darryl Magnuson for all his work updating the web site every day. See ya next year.
