Journal - February 25, 2002
(Edited By Mr. Loomans) On the first day of our class trip, we got up at 6:00 A.M. and got in the car to get to school. At 7:00, we began packing vehicles. Cold. Before we left school, Mr. Casselman locked his keys in his truck. After we got his keys, we left school and began our trip to Yellowstone. Cold. We arrived in Livingston at about 9:30. Cold. We got gas, bought worthless empty-calorie type products, and headed south. Upon arriving at the boiling river, we swam in the water which was either freezing or scalding for about an hour. Not cold. Then, we drove to the upper terraces where we skied about 1.4 miles; cold; Mr. Perdew, the expert skier, was one of the last ones back. Rolling down the hill was fun while waiting for the last person. Finally, we were ready to go to the camp in Lamar Valley. We made positive ID on 327 elk and 164 bison. Jim sees them all first, which bothers Chad. We unloaded cars, cold, and many people started Quinzhees. We got a lecture on not molesting wolves. We had great tacos for dinner. We have Mrs. Magnuson and you dont, na na na na na boo boo boo for you. After dinner, we worked on Quinzhees, cold, played games, and went to bed. Jesus loves you and me!!! |
